  • Quantitative Chemical Analysis, Chem 3000

This is an undergraduate-level class. The class focuses primarily on four chemical equilibria including precipitation, acid-base, EDTA, and Redox. In addition, introductory spectral analysis, electrochemical analysis, and chemical separations are included.

Taught in Fall 2018, Fall 2019, Fall 2020, and Fall 2021.

  • Nonlinear Optical Spectroscopy, Chem 7640

This is a graduate-level class. The class focuses primarily on light-matter interactions, three-wave mixing, four-wave mixing, quantum dynamics, etc.

Taught in Spring 2019 and Spring 2022

  • Analytical Spectroscopy, Chem 7600

This is a graduate-level class. The class focuses primarily on the basic principle of electronic and vibrational spectroscopy, instrumental design, and spectral analysis. In addition, time-resolved fluorescence spectroscopy and transient absorption spectroscopy are included.

Taught in Fall 2017

  • Physical Chemistry Laboratory, Chem 3090

This is an undergraduate-level class. The class focuses primarily on applying abstract knowledge of physical chemistry lectures into experimental skills. It includes 12 laboratories and 1 specicial project. We emphasize presentation and writing skills. Students also learn how to use numerical calculations with Igor and Matlab.

Taught in Spring 2019, Spring 2020, Spring 2021, and Spring 2022.
